Like the title says...is she worth a generic gem?

No. She gains value as a defender and gains something as an attacker. But she is still very good offensively unduped. Generic gems are for champs that are extremely useful for questing. Morningstar is a great champ but she is not as good as Starlord, Wolverine, Blade, Archangel, Doctor Voodoo or Scarlet Witch. Which all strongly benefit from the gem. Medusa and Void are also better generic worthy champs.

Nope Generic Gems are only for a select few and brand new champs that are instantly great and you have to wait 4 or 5 months before they hit the normal crystals and 6 months before the arena.

You can dupe Morningstar in the arena in a few weeks, save the gem
