Why was Loki nerferd?

I came to know that Loki was nerfed by kabam but why?

Proxima's setup to do that damage is lengthy, you also need to be syncing it with a 100 hit combo. Frankly, if you can get it to that point in the midst of a LoL run, I think you deserve to do 400K damage.

I noticed that some buffs Loki doesn't can steal, like evade buffs (I tested vs Spider Gwen), but his lvl 1 removes that buff from enemy.
If he cans remove it, why does he can gain it?
His ability says "Steals all of the opponent's buff".

Does evade buff is a passive buff? Why it can be nullified then?

It wasn't direct or energy at all. It was just an automatic 7% decrease in opponent health.

And intercept and parry is something we mostly do before we even hit special 2.
Only thing that made Loki worse was his power gain synergy with, I think, Thor ragnarok. That made him get to special 2 instantly. I feel that's the only solid argument on why he would need to be changed

Please do not compare Loki's old dps with synergies (gaining sp2s like crazy) to proxima's in LOL, it is very silly.

A side note: the community has a hard time grasping the concept of dps when it comes to DOT (damage over time) champions (AA, void) to bulk hitters (proxima, thor, hulk, etc). I find it amusing how underestimated the dps is of the damage over time champs and then they see champs like proxima and are like ERHMAGOD 400K DAMAGE BEST CHAMP IN GAME (and now people are slowly catching on she really isnt close to the top meta).

He can steal evade buff from spider-gwen l1. Just tested it and it worked, don't know why it didn't worked for you.
Passive buffs don't exist. They either are passive abilities or active buffs. So Loki can only steal buffs, not passive abilities

He can steal evade buff from spider-gwen l1. Just tested it and it worked, don't know why it didn't worked for you.
Passive buffs don't exist. They either are passive abilities or active buffs. So Loki can only steal buffs, not passive abilities

So it has not work for me more than one time.

So Daredevil's Precison is a passive ability, as the same as Miles Morales evade charges and Sabretooth Passive Fury Effects are all Passive Abilities? I thought all that icons that appear below health bar were buffs or debuffs, and passive abilities don't appear while fighting. That's why I put as passive or active buffs

That's a change, and said change consists of capping (aka limiting) L2's damage output. The change makes is so that his L2 doesn't deal as much as he could before. u sure that's not a nerf?

When the synergy was changed, hela wasn’t released in the game in any capacity, save for one. She was part of a rewards scheme that gave her to 5 people in the game. I believe, it was for the first 5 people to complete an event quest 100% or something like that? I can’t quite remember but kabam hyped it up throughout the month, like “first 5 to complete this will get a special reward” and everyone was excited for what it could be, then it turned out it was just a 4* hela released a few weeks early. Regardless, before she was released to the main game audience the synergy was changed. So if anyone ranked up Loki specifically because they knew in a few weeks they might be able to get hela as a 4* and perhaps they would be able to use the synergy, then they are an idiot.

They fixed an exploit by nerfing her rather than addressing the game mechanic that could be exploited for ininfite heavy attack spam. Make it impossible to lock something in the corner instead of reducing the effectiveness of the abilities that benefit from that behavior.

When you have an exploit that can incapacitate an Opponent into being cornered indefinitely, that's not a nerf. It's a fix. It would be used as a cheat, clearly.

The point was they should have made that action not possible so the ability wouldn’t have had that effect.

They can't make the action not possible. That's a perfectly acceptable tactic. When you have an Ability that can be spammed to stop them from doing anything indefinitely, that's an issue. They reduced the Proc of her Heavy. Anyone who relied on that was either using the exploit, or didn't have much experience with her to begin with.

Technically it was a nerf. They made her bleed on heavy proc chance from 50% -> 5%. It was made to fix an exploit, but it was still a nerf overall.

The GP fix was certainly a nerf. She used to be able to do something that she can't do now (exploit aside). But it was a reasonable nerf given the exploit and she is still a god tier champ. Loki was a fringe champ who was given a huge synergy buff which turned out to be too much so they capped it. If you have Loki he is still much better than he was with the synergy. I'm not really sure what there is to complain about here. No doubt we need rank down tickets though so people can use them to rank down other champs lmao
