Alliance War Season Rewards Question

Asked this earlier but did not get a coherent response:

@Kabam Miike Say you've been in your alliance for months as an active player in war, completed DOZENS of wars. Then, you become less active and don't play war any more. Would you still be getting season rewards from your alliance as time goes on? Can anyone vouch either way regarding season 1 rewards?

(note: I'm not talking about SWITCHING alliances, so no comments on that please)

    (saw your earlier post, i won't rehash)

    My understanding has been you have to fight in 5 wars in the season.

    You have to participate in 5 Wars during the season with the Alliance you end the season with to get the season rewards. The count resets if you leave the Alliance and come back. Whether it was at the beginning or end of the season doesn't matter.
