Yeah this was a long time coming! Why was this even added again? Oh right Kabam wanted to MILK THE WHALES!

I think that 90% of the issues with difficulty spikes making those moments of hopelessness such as 5.2 and RttL and LOL… would be far more fair if this abomination of a mechanic DIDNT exist!!!

Higher rank champions already had an advantage! They had higher stats!!!!!

"Derrrrrrr… how can we make a champion that's already stronger than you even stronger? OH give them a bonus for being stronger!"

Kabam refuses to make most of the champions suck (like our lord and savior Spider Gwen) but even when we have the utility, even when we have the catalysts, even when we have the stats… they have better stats on top of having better stats BECAUSE they have better stats
(Also I think you get worse stats just for having lower stats)

Not entirely sure about LOL but RttL and DEFINITELY RoL is way harder! Especially the new WS L2 which makes it far harder on newer players just getting SL Duped

But I thought it was the community that wanted ws changed that way and I just beat rol not that hard if u got the champs for it finally NEW PLAYERS SHOULD NOT BE DOING END GAME CONTENT

RoL seems to have been getting exclusively harder thanks to nerfs to SW, Leadership and WS animation

Rhino doesn't have his DASH on RoL which was added later in development

If you're actually trying for a 1st clear and you're letting WS get to his L2 you probably shouldn't be doing ROL or anything along those lines, or just use wolverine/x-23 and the chip damage doesn't matter. I know they also made act 4 easier along with LoL for sure.

I beat RoL well after V13 came around but before I was easily able to mop all the way until Vision with just Wolverine

Afterwards Wolverine is doing faaaar less damage and even his regen seemed less effective due to the L2… before the change the only issue was being able to parry/block and then dealing with "RoLverine"

Now the first enemy is easily a harder chalange compared to say… BP as his L2 is the only special that WILL hit no matter what Dex you wanna pull

All I'm actually getting at is that I didn't get the Untoppable Rhino dash when I went through

Wanted to point something out for everyone who keeps talking about nerfs this will be the end result for the community ever wonder why they nerfed sw and pb people asked them guys end the cycle learn from mistakes

It's not about newer players and hard content. Dim returns hurts every synergy and most masteries. Pure skill is useless now.

Challenger rating hurts the newer to even those of us who have awesome 4*s R5 and lacking actual decent 5*s. So challenger ratingakes LOL harder for 4*s.

The reason they added this was because of people having good 3 champs like SW and DP. DR also hurts specific champs like Karnak, who's focus used to be 100%. That's the theme with DR, nothing is 100% anymore

RoL is super easy imo, except for Wolverine... I feel like they may have added a mechanic to Wolverine that changes his behaviors when Guilly puts her curse on him I find he becomes much more passive and his regens rarely stack when he has the curse on him, they do but 9/10 times they replace the one that is already going. There are many options available now to take down wolverine 5/50 SL 300 hit combo can do it, Dr Voodoo, Civil Warrior (heavy only),Loki I mean come on there are multiple options to attempt and be successful. Just be patient, put in the practice and don't attempt the run prematurely. Now that was not the main intent of my post, what I had originally intended to ask is when you say Diminishing Returns, yet your complaints are geared towards "Challenger Rating" and tbh I don't find this to be much of a problem even tho I feel it was never really needed in the game to begin with, but it is no where near as difficult and some people seem to say/think.

RoL is so easy right now it's a joke. LoL as well, post 12.0.

If you're letting WS get to his L2 without a regen champ, you are doing it wrong.
