Visions’ SP1/ SP2 bugged?

Whenever vision (AOU or Classic) uses his SP1 or 2, it does damage if the opponent doesn’t block it, (plenty with that power burn too, ) but the opponent can always perfect block it, just gaining power and taking no damage. I find this really weird, as for any other champion, their specials still do damage when blocked (with the exception of when the specials are perfect blocked, but it’s not 100% chance, even depending on the champion, synergies or masteries). Are the visions specials supposed to do damage when blocked, or is it just a weird mechanic these characters have?

Just a weird mechanic. The damage dealt is directly proportional to power lost, so if they don't lose any power, there won't be any damage. This is also why Vision sucks on power shield

I thought the power burn was proportional to the damage dealt and that was damage on top of the special damage.

It’s also weird how it’s counterintuitive to evade vision’s specials because you actually gain power while blocking but take no damage and can punish him a lot easier after the special.

He only does damage if he drains power. If he doesn’t drain any power, he will do 0 damage

Both versions of Vision in LOL are different. Those 2 versions WILL cause damage to a blocking attacker.

The computer always does things we can’t do. They also hit harder for no reason. Sucks, but it’s the way they make the game unfortunately
