Yeah I'm going to call bs on that, I"ve had a lot of different devices and phones ( different brands, different models, different versions, different operating systems, etc)I over years and it's been the same on all of them so that argument doesn't hold any water especially for how long it's been going on for.

I've also seen that whole it's not you thing is an issue with a device thing from you guys and others to many times to count over my career with mobile games.

Otherwise you're heading down a very slippery slope, people pay hundreds of pounds on your offers only to have the champion they upgraded nerfed, you have to take responsibility when you make a significant change to something that people have effectively payed for!

Dude they finally fixed a bug that’s been prevalent since Mordo was released. They were actually transparent about this for the longest time and said they would eventually fix it. Be grateful it lasted as long as it did because they usually fix stuff like that right away. Please stop screaming for RDTs because you’re devaluing them and they’re not applicable to the situation because it’s been a confirmed “not working as intended” from the start.

They did in fact state repeatedly going back a long ways that this behavior was unintended and due to timing issues. There was no reason to lie about it way back then. And in fact, it wasn't just Drax that was able to do this, many other champions could do this but with different success rates. Drax was just the one with the best success rate. But the fact that others could do this less than 100% of the time demonstrated conclusively to me that this was, in fact, not a deliberate effect just as Kabam indicated all along.

The players can't demand transparency from Kabam and then ignore the one time they were actually transparent about intent.

What about AI blocking a special after a combo? Or not being able to dodge or block after finishing a combo. Or actually evading/dodging attacks? Or block/parry actually working instead of wiffing?

as long as u track and punish cheaters i can deal with a lot of the other stuff. Having a fair playing field is first and foremost imo. So if 19.0 fixes that... im pumped.

I'm not targeting him countering Mordo, Mordo's evade isn't meant to be countered. However Drax used to be a partial counter to other evade champs due to the quickness between his first and second impact of the medium hit.

This was why a lot of people loved him alongside his damage and whilst it was a bug it was a feature that defined the character. Without it he's nowhere near as valuable and having spent T2A on him, a rank down ticket surely isn't asking much

Completely agree with everyone. Rdt needs to happen for drax. Since his nerf he has been junk for me and wasted resources. I originally took him up specifically to fight mordo. You guys said way back when it was brought up he was working as intended. Also agree it’s bs on frame rate. I’ve played on iPhone 4,5.5s,6,6s,7,7+,8, and 10 along with Samsung(android) systems and it was always consistent. Yes I’ve played from the beginning and been through many phones or played on spare phones when I needed a charge so you guys are full of bs on the frame rate.

Kabam did in fact confirm this was something unique to Drax that was a bonus to him

Just saw this, and didn't see the normal discussion thread.

* Fixed an issue with Rogue where it was sometimes not possible to chain from a Combo into her Special 1 Attack

Hate to say it this is a problem that has been reported over and over again about all champs, not just rogue.

* Fixed an issue where some Champions would miss with their first light attack in a combo

I'm far from a Kabam apologist but they never said he was working as intended. That was AA (and his nerf was complete BS and deserved rank downs). They said Drax vs. Mordo was not intended but difficult to fix. The fact that Drax could ignore astral evade with his medium was neat, but anyone can beat Mordo. Can't see how getting past astral evade is the difference between being worth ranking and junk...

Drax now slightly slides backwards when an autoevader evades (mordo included). That's why he's not working like he did.

That's why we don't buy that nothing changed for him and that a frame rate enhancement has "fixes" him.

This is in new update. How will this effect him. Can someone elaborate please?

Every champ that could bypass astral evade could do it 100% of the time. It was absolutely not a frame rate issue. How they "fixed" this bug is that now every time a champ evades the first hit of Drax's medium, Drax's champ model slides back at the same time as the evading opponent and doubles the distance between him and the opponent. As a result, the second hit of the medium can't connect anymore and stop the evade. It also doesn't only affect astral evade. Drax can no longer bypass Quake's concussion evade (from her heavy) and OG Ultron's evade (several people used drax to beat him in 5.4). You'll also get cornered more quickly now when fighting evaders with Drax. This was a Drax specific nerf against evasion and he lost one of his unique features (being able to stop evades with his medium attack)

You can't nullify the buff (not sure about stagger but I think it works the same way). This change simply makes the buff icon correctly represent how it always behaved.

It actually full well was a frame rate thing. I remember the first time someone in my alli told me to upgrade my Drax (for mordo in aq) because they could consistently bypass his Astral Evade. When I heard this I was excited to try it out so I dueled a couple. I’m glad I decided to check for myself before ranking him up because I never once bypassed his AE. It was a bug fix that honestly made 0 difference to his game play on my phone.

I am laughing my ass off right now reading this constant complaining about Drax.
It was announced in no uncertain terms here that his attack is not designed to bypass evade, and the development team are trying to fix it. Seems to have been down the list of their problems since it took so long to correct.
If you were dumb enough to rank up a champ based on a glitch, don't go complaining when they fix it.

Kabam can u fix it...when i hitting enemy in the middle of my 5hit combos my hit suddenly miss and they hit back...

You know, Kabam has said many times that they work closely with Marvel. So all this also reflects on Marvel as well.

Just like AA, there is nothing in the abilities that state that he could bypass another ability. The way his combo works is not part of his abilities
