Serious Question about war prior to Season 3 starting

Kabam, if my alliance and the alliance we are fighting agree that neither team is to take node 29, is that considered collusion?

Lol that’s collusion.

You don’t need to agree to take a node or not. Skip the node for a few wars and see where it gets you. A lot of alliances have been slipping 29 already to help with 30 and 28, now even more of a reason to do so.

What I suggest is have someone take line 5. Have them sit at the portal. See how the war is going if a team will clear 100% all 3 maps then you know what’s needed to be done.

I guess I should rephrase the question. Kabam, if my alliance and the alliance we are fighting agree that neither team is to take down node 29, is that a punishable offense? Thanks.

The situation you describe is collusion, as defined in our previous comments on the topic, quoted below.

This is referring to the act of Collusion, when 2 or more Alliances make agreements behind closed doors that affect the outcome of their match.

Any actions taken that are against the spirit of competition in The Contest should be considered carefully because you are putting yourself and your Alliance at risk of actions being taken as a result. Also, just because an answer isn't given to your question on the forums it will not stop action being taken in a situation where the facts of the matter warrant it. So please do not make assumptions in that manner.

We are a tier 3 ally, we wouldn't ever know who we are matched up against prior to attack phase starting. So my situation would be after attack phase starts, we message the other team in the war room chat and say something like "hey would you be interested in agreeing to neither team attacking node 29?" If they agree, great. If they don't, great. It wouldn't ever be behind closed doors. But I got it, this IS a punishable offense, thank you for the reply, have a good day.

Do you guys consider it collusion if both teams agree in war chat to not use items? I could see an argument for both sides but was wondering what the official stance at Kabam is. By the way, my alliance has never done this and I would be very hesitant to trust that no items would get used but I saw people talking about this specific thing when you guys came out with the update for AW that made it much more difficult.

Just make sure you both place all 2* champs. I here those wars are the most fun.

That changes now that the nodes have been swapped. 29 now becomes 30 and vice versa. So 29 is now going to be ththe crazy node but it’ll be unliked so good! Your choice whether or no you want the extra exploration

I think its pretty clear. Each alliance tries their hardest. Any agreement such as limiting items,not taking nodes, placing 2s is punishable. Just up to us to try our hardest... and invest in units, boosts and potions.

So is it collousion if neither alliance takes out node 29 without agreeing not to ? Just a silent agreement basically ? Same thing honestly
