Scrap Still in the inventory?

I have some Scrap left in the inventory from GotG event quest, I thought it was supposed to be removed but it's there

    Its not taking up any space, so why are you needing it gone so bad?

    It hurts my sense of order having something useless I can't remove in my already clumsy inventory. I know it's a minor thing I just wanted to see it others experienced this as well

    Its a nice souvenir to have from the rockets workshop event. It also reminded me about the first time i got the willpower mastery from the carbs i bought from scrap.
