Finally got around to running the event quest, and got to the adaptoid everyone is screaming about, and......yup, they're right. Quite the money-grabbing , Kabam.

100% Explored Uncollected with my 3* Ronan. He's only sig 45 but was good enough to 5-hit combo three times, SP1, repeat.

Only takes about 350 hits...

I used a 3* Ronan on him and Red Skull. Bait and evade the first special of each and spam that special 1 over and over. Works awesome!

the adaptoid is one of the best fights we have had insome time. its challengin hard and fun. requires strategy and planning and for you to think. both of the last two bosses are great works of art. just becaus somthing is hard doesnt mean its a “piss take” or “money grabbing fight” honeslty om kinda sick of all the people complaining about hard content and blaming kabam instead of adapting learning and growing. you know, practice hard work and experience. really its 100% beatable. long are the days of face raw bs with sw. and the game is better for it. this is not a mindless button mashing game. if thats what your looking for your playig the wrong game.
kabam great work on this months event quest. the last few months have been to easy. thank you for taking the time to develope hard fun challenging content. keep upong the difficulty every month as well. until the point you have add a epic chapter. and maybe you can add t5b, t2a, 6* shards and more sig stones to the rewards. maybe even a 6* awakening stone. if it takes long enough. thats what this game needs. not bs complaints of “oh poor me its to hard”. instead of just xoming on here complainig, amd blamig kabam why dont yall make a well constructed suggestion post. or heres an idea spend that time practicing and learnig amd getting better. man so done with the bs.

Yep, 3* ronin ROFLstomps both adaptoid and red skull.

The latter is even easier, because he ends up with more buffs, so longer stuns and more attack bonus. Plus the 10 stacks of armor are ignored by ronin's specials. Also, no regen.

Adaptoid avg'd 275ish hits, skull avg'd 175 hits

With the wrong champs, sure he’s a tough fight. Maybe one of the toughest.

With the right champs you could literally do it with your eyes closed.

SL or Spark with Cap IW synergy/ IM does the job too. Every time he launches a special his power is drained 100 percent.
