War MVP

Can someone explain what determines mvp? I don’t understand how it works.

In my last war I got 1 defender kill and 7 attack kills and another guy got 15 defender kills and 7 attack kills. But yet I was mvp with 4.6% contributed?

Does defense rating play any kind of part in being mvp? I know exploration does but we both took our own lanes and took a mini.

If someone could please explain that would be much appreciated.

I have no idea how they calculate any of it. Lol

Defensive rating plays a HUGE part.

No.one.knows. but the easiest paths (1, 2, and 3) tend to give it the most.
