War penalty can be ethically wrong

Me and my children share one device we were accused of cheating during alliance war. I assume because we use the same device. Should we be punished because we can't afford dirrerent devices. What are your thoughts on the matter.

I can imagine that playing only one device, it would seem like someone playing multiple accounts successively, as in piloting. Tough one.
Maybe moderators can shine a light here.
It's kind of stupid, but believe it or not that is against Kabam's Terms of Service. I have no idea how they would be able to detect that the same device is shared by your kids, but I do know that it is not something they want people doing. So I don't know what to tell you. I completely understand the situation you are in, but this is something that Kabam is pretty adamant against. I am sure a moderator will be on soon to close this thread and tell you that it is against their TOS
Sharing devices is not against the ToS. Only sharing accounts.
To be honest the OP's alliance probably got punished for something other than account sharing.
Kabam is providing a free game that requires a device and the acceptance of their terms of service. Why would Kabam allow someone to break their terms of service simply because they couldn't obtain a second device...something that is completely out of Kabam's control?
Ok I may have read that wrong, I was reading that they share one device and was thinking that meant the same account, but I guess the OP didn't specify that. What I meant was that account sharing is against TOS.
