Shouldn't Kabam make this game Family Friendly?

Dear Kabam,
I have recently started playing this game, trying to find a fun game for my 2 young kids to play. And for the most part, I love Marvel’s Contest of Champions. It's very unique, interesting, & for the most part, easy to play.
However, as a parent of 2, I honestly cannot let my children play this game just yet. I just cannot see this game as completely Family Friendly, & here is why…

Some female characters, such as Angela & Electra, are dressed inappropriately for younger children, & others, such Phoenix & Rouge, have very skin tight suits.
Some mature language is mixed in with the dialogue, such as Korge saying p*** in a quest I recently went through.
Some Characters animations, such as the Special Attack 3 on The Hood, contain scary images for younger people. I do not see this as big of an issue as the first 2 I listed, but this is a preference I would like to see addressed.

Anyways, those are my thoughts. But what about you, fellow parents? Here is a poll down below. Please vote your opinion, or state it in a kind manner down below.

Its comics. Your kids can play but if your smart you'll be teaching them at the same time it's not appropriate but that doesn't mean they cant enjoy comics.

This game is currently rated `teen` and not `family friendly` and there's a choice to setup parental control if you wish. I definitely prefer comic /movie accurate game and that's what attracted me here the first place. Kids shouldn't be playing this at a young age anyways it's way too addicting.

There is going to be content that i have to explain to my kids everyday. Its the life of a parent, there are school shootings in elementry schools and politicians that protect those guns on tv. Thats a hard issue to explain to my kids, whats not is a fantasy game of fake people dressed in fake clothes that can fly, hulk out, come from hell (mephesto), and so on. Its a game. Not real life. If ypur kids are that young that red hoods animations could caise nightmares they are not old enough for this game. Its not an issue with the game, there are things everywhere that arent kid friendly and at the same time there are things just for kids. I dont think any change to the content should be made. Maybe a higher rating sure. But there are 3 other marvel games that your kiddos could play in the app store that may involve less need to explain whats happening. I respect and value you looking out for your children. But i disagree anything should be done

I hate to say it but if we're gonna make this game family friendly then we gotta do that with alot of games...

Oh for the last time, Marvel isn't for kids. They aim it at 12+ at the very least. Disney may own Marvel, but there are still a lot of grim events that are not suitable for kids.

I'm not a parent, and this is just my opinion, but I would say to not raise your kids to be absorbed by modern technology. Take them out on day trips, don't have them addicted to a mobile video game.

The game is Rated Teen. I appreciate the suggestion, though. I just think it's up to the discretion of the parents to decide if children can play or not.

First of all, if your children are as young as you say, they should not play mobile games at all... Children must not get too addicted to the game from their very younth. Also MCOC is a game for 13+ and because you want to change this, it doesn't mean it has to. It was never a family friendly game... Also, a lot of female characters are dressed in a way that they look appealing. They are characters from the comics, and if you want to change their appearance, what can I say? MCOC is a FIGHTING GAME. If you want games for your kids, go install Candy Crush or something like that...

Thats all you are worried about? Not the fact that characters are getting stabbed with swords or shot with guns? Punched in the face as well? Glad tonknow You arent concerned with violence but you are concerned about body shaming.

Also, the word Piss isnt meant as urination but "piss off" or "take the piss" is similar to shut up or playing a joke on me.

Our game is rated 12+ on the App Stores. This means our content is going to be geared towards audiences older than that of kids under 12. A lot of our dialogue and costumes are derived from the original content provided by Marvel which they put out for every one of their selected ratings.

People need to let people have things again. Not everything has to be censored, diversified or whatever thing is making somebody offended. Let the games be. If anything however I wouldn’t mind seeing a bit of a more stable network.

I disagree. I think it's already as "friendly" as it's going to get. Kabam is simply creating characters based on the likeness of a trademark. These original characters were fantasy based. They were illustrated to attract men as the primary demographic.

It's more than reasonable to have concern for the scantily clad outfits. This spreads across all platforms: games, comics, cartoons, movies, etc. But that's the way they were designed originally.

Disney movies have kept Marvel characters looking as they should. They are a family friendly company and they certainly didn't change Gamora to look like a Mormon. No, she's a hot green alien babe. Just as intended and originally designed.

Fantasy characters are generally rated teen and up for that reason. Your concerns are completely legit, but I think changing it to satisfy your need to introduce it to an audience that's too young damages the brand of what Marvel is (and is not.)

The only thing I have seen that I half way agree with is the execution style animation of domino,. The first time I saw it I was surprised they would have someone on their knees getting shot in the face. It seemed... a bit inappropriate.

Marvel swears a lot more in the movies, mcoc is a kids game in comparison to infinity war or Thor ragnarok’s language

Honestly I would suggest Avengers Academy. I was never one as a kid to "ogle" the comic book characters, but I can see your concerns. My ex's 5 year old is the one who got me into the game 18 months ago.. .. .. that little.. son of a. LOL

My kids are 8 and 12 and love marvel. Both have their own accounts but neither are all that active. You could see so much worse stuff on tv these days not to mention the internet. By comparison I’d say the content isn’t bad at all. This is gonna be the most onesided pole ever.

So punching , kicking, shooting guns at opponents and stabbing them with knives is fine for your kids, but not females in skimpy clothing? what is wrong with the world, dear oh dear.
Its not for children full stop but cant help feeling that clothing should be the least worrying part for your kids to see.
Did you also ban your kids from going to the Beach and to Swimming Baths? because they will see much more female flesh their than in MCOC
