Do Arena Rank Rewards have special requirements?
Hey everyone,
So a couple of weeks ago, I was extremely busy with life and decided to skip the Featured 5* Arena grind completely. However at the last moment, I decided to give it a run and put up 1 mil for those sweet 200 shards.
48 hours later and I had still not received any rank rewards (60% - 100%) for my points in that arena. So I sent Kabam a ticket.
The response I got was and I quote:
“Even if the player has reached enough points to have earned a Rank Reward, since it all depends on the performance of other players, a player's individual score is not an absolute certainty of qualification for a particular reward. Although you have indeed reached in 1,015,802 the 5-Star Vulture Arena, other players in your bracket that have reached far higher points than the rank points qualification. There are even players that have obtained double of the points required thus qualifying them for the rank rewards.
Besides the performance of the other players, another factor to consider is the bracket that you were placed. Each bracket has its own internal ranking and is composed of different players with different features and levels - the minimum requirements needed to reach a particular reward are different for players in different brackets. This is also to ensure balance in the arena events so that players with higher PI will not gain an advantage by constantly picking on the lower PI players or new players.”
Now I was not aware that there was any such thing as a “bracket” within Arenas. So basically, I put 1 mil+ points and end up with nothing, just because I have progressed farther in the game and was capable of putting up more points? Is prestige and PI a thing to consider with Arena as well?
I would love some official response from Kabam in this matter
And for them to shed some light on this issue itself to let others in the community like me know about this weird thing within the arena, that I myself had no idea about.
