What is the champion going to be used for? Magik is an amazing defender once awakened and 5/50 for war. Ultron used to be, but is probably better used as an attacker in AQ these days.

ghost rider doesn't need to be awakened to be good, it just unlocks another tool for him to use. go with magik

I have a personal viewpoint of not r5 champions that have a 5* version in the basic crystal. Ive ranked GR, voodoo, sw, and mordo (yes, after his 5* release but it was a r4-r5 gem) before my 4* magik. but it depends what you need. If you are really short on power control champs, I think magik is better. If you need offense in general, bleed immune, longevity, I like GR more.

Except the 4* are not only way easier the get and dupe. That logic is also flawed as most champions are planned to be added over the coming months so… have fun with no r5
