Any Love for Psylocke?

I have a rank 3 duped 5 star psylocke. Although I dont quest with her very often, she is so much fun to play. I might even take her to rank 4 one day just because her damage is great when the opponent is at 0 power. Anyone else on the psylocke train like me?

I’m not advocating any hate by saying that as being a discount hybrid of 2 godly chanpions is nothing to laugh at. I’m on the fence to rank her up though.
Her downsides are that Mutant class is Mutant class. You have trash and then you have Gods and there’s almost no in between except with Bishop who is mostly a defense option. Further more she has a lot of competition. Beyond Gwenpool and Magik she also gets a sideways stare from Hawkeye for stepping on his Sp1 game.
Lovey champ, overlooked, underrated, and she has a mutual romance with Archangel so even a decent synergy
honestly, shes not useful in questing really, just so fun to play around with, i love using her.
for me psylock never really shines. I have duped 5* and max duped 4*, pulled her a lot while I'd prefer many others mediocre champs over her. so I know how to play her. still her value is somewhere near netflix dd, maybe even lower with current meta increases value of armor break
There ARE times when power control is needed, Magik can’t always Sp2 in time, Hawkeye Sp1 only prevents what he can create so its not gonna solve every power gain, and Gwenpool can’t handle passive. True Luke Cage and Void are around but they handle different messes
And a lot of Psylocke users ignore that her Sp2 WILL Power Lock and it doesn’t actually cost anything aside from a single charge which you’ll get 4-5 in the same time to charge Sp2
And it’s actually her heavy attack that uses her charges most effectively as a “kill” move

1300*0.74=Charge
962 per detonate
And I’m not giving her full 5* r3 credit here.
I’m still debating taking her r3 just for Variant.
I don’t believe she’s good or bad. She’s more of an upset. If we get more champion requirement quests I could actually a lot of “upset tier” champs becoming more and more exposed

Alternatively you can apply an active power lock with sp2 and sp3. This is easy to keep reapplying because she consumes a psi charge on sp2 to generate enough power to have her sp1 ready immediately after. So you’ll have enough time to reach sp2 again just as it’s expiring.
Sp3 is a guaranteed power lock too and has a very long stun duration should it bring them to 0 power which it always should if you wait long enough to do so (should usually just be ready but you wait a few seconds at most if not). That gives you enough time for 2 5 hit combos followed by medium medium and then a third medium to open up your third 5 hit combo. You’ll build up 2 or 3 psi charges attacking the stunned opponent giving you the passive lock before the active lock expires. You can use this for a quick reset if you slip up and get hit. She is one of my favourite champs and is undoubtedly a better option for power control than the usual names like magik, Hawkeye etc. Recently used her for uncollected Ægon and finished the fight on 100% health. She’s incredibly useful and I wish I could get a 5*.
