they do have the same drop rate therefore technically the same.
however due to the larger cost of the uncollected ones and therefore smaller amount you have a higher chance of a run of bad rng v a run of good rng.
whilst the larger number of regular gives a better chance of a balanced result.

as i said though the drop rate is the same.
so statistically you have exact same chance.
crystals cost 5x the amount but each reward is 5x the value.
personally however i have found i get better results from the regular ones when i open large amounts at a time.

last opening i did was 500k of each type.
I got better results from the regular ones by a decent margin.

I'd rather open an Uncollected Crystal just because there is a chance for a 5* Punisher. Apart from that, as someone else pointed out, the drop rates are the same

They have the same drop rate, but I don't bother with the Uncollected. I find I have more random luck with the 2k Crystals.

2 months ago you were yet to do it....
i would have expected a post and an update to your "why i'm still collected" thread if this had changed

Yeah I wasn't going to post about it. Lol. The last Thread was closed. More of a silent triumph really. A number of people reached out to me and wished me luck though. Appreciate the support.

Uncollected arena crystals definitely give more gold and units but they cost more.
As others have said the average drop rate per battlechip spent will be the same over time as, short term uncollected ones are more likely to be a big win or big loss situation and regular ones will give you closer to the expected value
