Just because a statement has been made, doesn't mean that the entire community should agree with it and close our mouths.
If we cant discuss on the only discussion platform that the devs acknowledge the existence of, then where else are we to voice our discontent about the game, to the people behind it?
The 2015 rank-up gem situation has not been handled fairly. That is my opinion, and I'm sure a LOT of people share it.
Could I have finished the content within 48 hrs? No. But the issue is with the fact that the game has now created an unfair imbalance, even among the whales. If the devs are ok with doing so, what larger unfair imbalance will they be ok with creating among the whales and those below them, and those below them, and so on.
Just straight up closing every discussion about this is a dangerous precedent to set, on top of just creating an unfair playing field.
