Happens to me when i play evaders too, but this one's a whole 'nother story. Different bug. The old one allowed the A.I. to have super-human timing and ignore the evade animation, which it can't do anymore. This new evade bug only happens when you try to intercept them, and works something like this: while normally your punch would have stopped you from getting hit, since it interrupted his animation, he evaded it, thus barely hitting you and then dashing away. Or it wouldn't have stopped him either way and he evaded a hit that he would have stopped. Either way, it's a new, different bug.
Old A.I. used to both hit during an interception (meaning their offensive action took precedence over the evade, which still took precedence over the intercept), AND instantly start comboing you after an 'evade'. So it is not new, at all. They have always done that, it's just become more prominent with a Spiderman-based challenge full of evaders. And they don't instantly combo you after evades, but more often than not, they still seem to evade and recover faster than the attacker, meaning they still get free hits.

That's not at all what's happening. For me, Spider-Man is stunned. I connect for three hits as part of a five hit combo. As I'm about to connect with the fourth, the stun ends, he instantly evades and simultaneously does damage to me while knocking me back halfway across the screen. Interception plays no role in this for me
