Fantastic 4

Can someone tell me why the first family aren't characters in the game?

Because Marvel doesn't have the rights

Marvel didn’t have the rights. Remember how Disney bought fox a few months back. Disney owns the rights to fantastic 4 therefore marvel owns the rights.

It wasnt about the rights. Wolverine belongs to the xmen and marvel didnt have their rights either. It had more to do with Marvel trying to diminish the brand so fox would sell the rights back. Thats why the comics stopped but came back in August.

Marvel only sold the movie rights. They could have been in the game all along, just like the X-Men characters.

What's important is getting their class right if they get brought in. They get their powers from solar radiation on a science expedition in outer space. That means Reed is mutant, Susan is mystic, Johnny is science, and Thing is tech.

    Why is the Thing tech?

I’m pretty sure they would be Cosmic

There has to be something preventing them from coming in. The Fantastic 4 are among the most marketable, profitable & cash grabbing Superhero brands in the world. Yet, although we all know Gaming Companies (like Kabam) LOVE they're piles of green dollars, not a even one Mobile Game has had the F4 in them, including MCOC, Future Fight & Puzzle Quest. Not even Strike Force has the F4, which is owned by Fox. It isn't a coincidence that among the most marketable brands on earth, hasn't been used by a single game company yet, it just can't be.
Marvel has their panties in a bunch and is being stubborn because they can't get the movie rights. Well, them or Disney.

They are coming in January, and marvel has chosen to not market FF to make the brand less profitable in order to force the sale back to themselves. That’s why there haven’t been FF comics in a while either
