Yea. I was so frustrated that I actually spent $10 for units to buy revives just so I can explore master. Congrats Kabam, you've actually made this F2P person pay for something. Merry Christmas!

I can post a vid to prove it, the block damage was my only concern which is why I ended early

Edit: just realised I can't post vids from my phone but I can still send a screenshot

My strategy wasn't to parry and hit, I'd just bait sp1s and fight normally.
The fun and interactive bit was the first 30 seconds where you have to play your way out the corner, and manage his power

I was just giving my opinion on the fight, I don't know what I said to earn 2 flags

I typically walk right through Master without even reading most nodes within a day or two. It’s easy.

This month I have been stuck on the last Master map for over a week. I still have 3 paths left to explore and I can’t do it. I get to the boss with 4 or 5 full health champs and he kills me in a matter of seconds most times. Sometimes I get lucky and he throws the L2 quickly, I dodge it, wait out stealth mode, and then beat him down with basic attacks and only bait the L1 to avoid putting him into any other modes.

Sometimes. Not usually.

Most of the time I get caught by the first punch he throws while I’m trying to dash back and one combo takes me from 100% health to dead.

Maybe Uncollected throws the special at the beginning pretty quickly, but in Master he holds onto it, so making his basic attacks unblockable means you basically can’t do anything except get killed or push him to an L3 if he decides not to throw the L2. Ridiculous.

I’ve tried using Iceman to absorb an early hot. I’ve tried using Daredevil to beat him down while in stealth mode. I’ve tried power controllers (this is a terrible strategy, by the way, because knocking him down with a special puts him into shield mode with the most ludicrous autoblock in the game and any power lock you put on him gets cleansed when he stands up).

Usually it doesn’t matter who I bring anyway because I’m dead before stealth mode is even active.

I have spent hundreds of units on this fight. I’ve beaten him 3 times this week and that’s all. I have not and will not ever spend a single dime on this game because of garbage like this. It’s a blatant cash grab.

I have tried all the strategies. Daredevil to hit him in stealth mode, Iceman to survive a hard hit at the beginning, power controllers — none of it works because he kills me before it matters. I can start with a full roster of champs and end up completely wiped out before he’s even at 90% health thanks to his ridiculous regen, unblockable basic attacks, and free L2 right off the bat.

This is a bad fight that is not in line with the rest of the Master difficulty.

Most of the time I end up getting caught by some unblockable basic attack, often the first punch of the round, while I try dashing back straight out of the gate. The Master AI is less aggressive than Uncollected so he just holds on to the L2 sometimes and never throws it. My options are either get hit by an unblockable basic or push him to an L3 and take that instead.

To everyone who claims darkhawk was an "easy fight"

You have to admit, the amount of player backlash on reddit and the mcoc forums have been enormous compared to previous months. This shouldn't be a regular business practice on Kabam's part.

The hotfix is not working its still lags a lot in uncollected difficulty its time to abandon this quest

There's not much they CAN say. Obviously they don't want to see people unhappy.

Not all these EQs can always be completed, I remember during the one right before Infinity Thanos I could come nowhere close to 100% on uncollected, I barely made it past master. This month, I found master to be tougher, in UC there was almost zero lag and DH cooperated way more. If you lag out or he just won’t cooperate, back out and try again. I nearly beat him in one shot with Blade- whose bleed doesn’t work on him- almost every run. It’s all a matter or strategy and patience. Energy refill costs less than a revive. Plenty of videos on how to beat him too.

Lol I mean I definitely got mad the first few times I ran master cause I had zero idea what I was doing... but if the master lag kills you, skip to UC. I’m on the same phone and software and UC lagged maybe one or two times at most.

I'm still having problem with the lag against DH.
Noticed that it also occurs when fighting Dormammu (AQ) and Red Hulk (Duel).

I’m not there yet on UC, but I don’t see what the difference is by the difficulty’s. The game is going to lag no matter what. Their hotfix fixed nothing on my end. Even switched from WiFi to LTE like everyone always suggests. Still same lag. I’m not even going to mess with him on UC other than for completion. The lag may be different for everyone but in terms of difficulty, what I meant by UC being easier for me was because he threw his first SP2 way easier than in master. I’m sure that may not be universal, but all 7 runs of it he never once gave me a ridiculous time with that first SP2.

I don't think you understand the effect this EQ has had. It's not just your usual "Not all content is made for everyone." situation. The amount of people hitting brick walls is large. It's a combination of the lag issues AND the degree of challenge. It would be highly challenging with perfect controls. People with higher Ranked 5*s and 6*s are dying out on Master. While I agree that Energy is cheaper than Revs, let's not minimize the situation. It's altogether a miss.

@GroundedWisdom that’s honestly fair enough. I didn’t have a whole lot of lag, but the couple times I did sucked, so I definitely understand where everyone is coming from on that. I suppose all the tips and videos in the world can’t fix lag.

It's taken a great deal of enjoyment out of the entire month because hundreds of Units and Resources are being depleted. My entire Ally, every person, is either pouring all they have into it, or walking away from it. That tells me something.

I haven't experienced the lag death against him. I honestly found this to be the easiest EQ since I became Uncollected. With that said, my first time facing him in master I got wrecked. Soooooo, I read the nodes and his abilities. Only time I died against him was the first time I fought him. I found him to be super easy.
