Corvus taking coldsnap damage

I was unlucky enough to pull iceman in today's trial quest... Luckily I brought corvus with me... Who I thought was coldsnap damage immune with charges... But before I knew it... The fight started and the coldsnap took 75% of my health... Can someone explain why... Is there a node I'm missing that might cause it?
