Not that I support cheating by any means, but even a Court of Law has varying sentences. It would be a pretty severe world if they didn't take situations into account and assess transgressions.

its 3 strikes, on 3rd its permabanned.

i know several people who unit frauds thousands of dollars of cheap odins, and only serve 7 day banned.

with recent banned wave today, alot of people was banned for using arenas bots, especially the ones in 5* featured arena.

The 5 star arean need to be 400 people but that don’t help becasse the. The score wuld raise even more put a 5 star basice in the mix like 5 to 10 procent ore 1 to 5 procent get a 5 star basice

I don't think raising the Cutoff would solve the problem of cheating. People will cheat if they choose to break the rules, at 150 or 400.

I think they should police this more, but I think there should be degrees of difference over the type of offense. Technically catching someone logging into his sister's account while she's traveling so she can get the calendar rewards is a TOS violation just like botting the arena, but I don't think they deserve the same punishment even on repeat offenses.

I think the more the offense affects the gameplay of others, the more severe the punishment should be, and the more excessive the infraction is, the more severe the punishment should be. I think three small different infractions that have no real impact on the rest of the game shouldn't draw a serious penalty just for being the third strike, on the other hand large scale cheating can justify a permanent ban on the very first infraction if the degree of cheating was large enough.

If the only punishment for botting the arena was taking away the arena rewards gained, that would make botting the arena a zero-risk endeavor. If you're not caught, win. If you are caught, no loss (because you're losing rewards you wouldn't have gotten anyway).

That is problematic and should be dealt with, but I don't think you can count it as two separate offenses for the purpose of deciding if the person was a repeat offender. Otherwise, you might as well count every arena fight that is won by a bot to be a separate offense, and all botting offenses become multiple offenses automatically.

The whole idea behind escalating punishment is not to use technicalities to generate the largest possible punishment but rather to punish the second deliberate decision to commit an offense more harshly than the first one. Using a champ gained improperly through botting isn't making a second deliberate decision to defraud the game. It is a continuation of the initial decision to gain a champ by cheating *and* use them once they have them. That's *why* cheating that earns valuable rewards like champs and rank up materials is in fact such a serious offense. Because those cheats have downstream consequences that are almost impossible to fully account for, and there's essentially no good way to make the other players affected by that cheat whole again. Because it is bad conduct with ripple effects that affect other players.
