**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Is this Legal or Illegal?

Is it free units or you giving them “data” so they reward u with money?

If it’s the former, yes get that far away from your account

If it’s the latter, I think it’s technically legal, but I’m not sure. You are sort of working for them, which makes it your money to spend, but if the business itself is “allowed” to do that is the question.

Doesn’t sound illegal. Basically you are sharing spending info so they can classify how much of a whale you are (or aren’t). The bigger the whale, the more they can probably get advertising games to you and bounties for you signing up. They give you a cut of revenue they are making off of you in the forums of gift cards. That is at least my guess of the business model.

It's legal. It's like Rewards Surveys. You earn so many Points and they give you the option of redeeming Gift Cards for whichever platform you want. It's not really affiliated with the game. What you use your Gift Cards on is up to you.

As for whether that company follows through with its Rewards or how long it takes to earn enough, I don't know. My experience with those programs is it takes alot of effort to earn enough Points to redeem something.

my instinct says keep far from this. looks like ur going to hand over ur personal data including behavioural traits. such statistics can be used to lure n exploit u causing u to loose more money than the small gambles (of purchasing game related things) u already indulge in. its more like the casino effect.
