Getting close to 5* (my first)

I was reading recently that it's bad to take a 5 star crystal and use it for the next couple months.

Can someone please explain this. I'm getting reall close 1000 more to go and I'd like to know if I should wait. Waiting will be difficult. I however waited this long if I got a spidergwen I'd be a little pissed

    The 5*s they have added recently and will be adding these next few months are not very good. I mean would you rather have a 5* Ultron or a 5* SH? A lot of the champs being added these next few months are more like She-Hulk and not like Ultron. So, it skews the odds of you pulling a champion you will hate if you open from now until October.

    It's your first one, I'd just do it. No point in waiting for months to possibly get a slightly less sucky champ.

    There is no real difference in 4 and 5* unless you wanna r4 the 5*, if that is the case, I'd wait till November/December

    i had the same dilemma for my first 5*, and i decided to open it now since i'll prob get another one by the time Oct/Nov rolls around. got colossus :disappointed:

    Just open it, no sense at all in waiting. The longer you leave it the bigger the 5* pool gets, decreasing your chances at pulling and then duping a real top champ like SL. Or you could wait until oct/Nov and then pull iron patriot anyway...
