SUSPEND WAR RATING IN OFFSEASON.

I know you guys have enough on your plate, especially when it comes to alliance war, but something needs to be done during the offseason to stop people tanking alliance war. There is nothing that makes this cheap or cheating per say but my alliance has climbed a couple thousand in war rating and we’re going to end up playing masters alliances when season starts if this continues even with your new system in place. I understand that nothing can be done to fix this before season starts but please consider suspending any increase or decrease in alliance war rating for next offseason to put a stop to this unfun joke going on right now that is the offseason.

While this is good for curbing tanking in higher tier Alliances, it would be unfair to the lower tiers. So IF this is done, perhaps it should only apply to higher tiers? Even then it's kind of a slap in the face to many whom are playing straight up, high tier or otherwise. Plus, this wouldn't fix the issue of shell Alliances. At all. they need to be addressed together IMO. Hopefully this new matchmaking system will make things like shell Alliances and tanking useless. Although, chances are it won't. Suggestions like this are great in some aspects but completely unfair in others. Start up Alliances that are pushing to get up there are gonna be limited to growth during the Season if this is done. Which isn't right. So while I agree that tanking and shell Alliances make things unfair during the Season, there needs to be a way of fixing this that won't in turn hurt other Alliances' chance for continuous growth. Hopefully they can find a method of matchmaking that makes tanking, and shell Alliance tactics pointless. Gonna be tough to say the least.

That’s acquiescing to the will of manipulators when players should be given a fair fight in the game mode. It’s capitulation that results in nonparticipation which is a forceful denial of access to a game mode by others.

It would fix shell alliances, if you suspend offseason rating and make it to where bronze and silver 3alliamces cannot achieve plat 2 or higher in a single season

Shell allainces can tank during the season, it has zero effect on them.

It’s already something shells do anyways. One tactic is to leave the shell open to join then start wars during the season; that shell is likely to lose due to it being populated by players who cannot compete at that level.

The other option is to drop the WR of the shell during the season by joining wars and not placing defense.

Freezing offseason rating would fix one problem that’s more frequent than shells though, so it still should be done. Swapping alliances can be fixed with a timer, or a cap to how high an alliance can reach. If they make it to where an alliance cannot jump more than 5 -7 tiers or 5 divisions in a single season, this would eliminate shells
