Why isn't Yondu a Guardian of the Galaxy?

Why doesn't Yondu have a #Guardians of the Galaxy tag? But agent venom does? At the end of GOTG2 Rocket translates what baby Groot says to Yondu “Welcome to the frickin’ Guardians Of The Galaxy, Except he didn’t use frickin." So baby Groot and Rocket accepted Yondu into the GOTG and he's not given a GOTG tag? This seems like it's dishonoring Yondu's sacrifice.

Edit: but as earlier stated, not a member in this game. I don't see a huge issue

Wouldn't honoring Yondu's sacrifice mean he should be dead? That might make him less useful overall.

Yes killing him would make him less useful... But he's already in the game and killing him isn't really an option because the people who have him probably won't be happy. All he needs is a #Guardians of the Galaxy tag. It probably won't be that hard to add and he's a GOTG in both the comics and the movie.
