alliance war bug or what?

so i didnt take part when placement phase was going on but the next day when the attack phase started i was able to join war?

as far as i can recall it this nvr used to happen but now it can?

If there was an unclaimed defensive spot, when Attack starts anybody else in alliance can join attack.

If you mean you never “enlisted” yourself during enlistment phase, that is for alliance as a whole (everybody does not individually signup saying they want to enlist in upcoming war).
