Robbed of Romance Crystals!!!

I logged into MCOC today only to find out my romance crystal shards are gone.

Event ended, I get it, my legendary crystal from the same event remains, why did they delete my romance shards?

No warning, unlike other events where tasked to remove it or lose it. Nothing, just gone.

I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat... why you gotta do me like that Kabam?

    They always go away when the timer ends

    Would they have gone away even if I turned the shards into crystals?

    Yes, mine all gone too. I just assumed it will be like those CNY packets or other crystals that also had a timer, but remained even though timer expired. Guess these are shards, that's the difference, which really makes no sense at all.
