Corvus interaction with symbiote supreme

When facing him as a defender, my r2 6* Corvus will lose approximately 50% health while running towards Symbiote Supreme (not even touching him).

Does this happen to all tech champs or just Corvus? Why exactly? Is there any ways to avoid this damage?

Corvus is cosmic.

But symbiote supreme is nullifying Corvus Gs buffs at the start of the fight ( the more
Missions you have completed going into the fight, the more buffs he will nullify at the start of that fight)

Each nullified buff deals a sizeable
Amount of damage.

You should try getting some buffs on vtd and going against Symbiote Supreme.
