Starlord is an excellent champion to start with. Gives you a chance to build skill and overpower what seems like impossible challenges.

Anyone with regen and simple play style. Wolverine and X-23 are two of the best early game champs.

Hmm....believe it or not, what helped me the most starting out was 3* Unstoppable Colossus. Not sure if that would still apply, that was 3 years ago, and I hadn't discovered Parry.
