Once game introduces ways to acquire materials to rank up a 6 star up to R5 then we may see 7 star heroes...

Yup, I'm guessing they keep us at 6* for a while (all of 2019) as we can't even R3 a 6* yet, so I'm guessing they will introduce the mats all throughout this year and possibly into next year. I would assume 7* would be slated for 2021, unless their profits drop and they need to make money by offering mats

Absolutely not. The best 6*s are at Rank 3 right now. First let those get to Rank5, then after 6*s are actually fully integrated into the medium tier players roster -- thats when it makes more sense to integrate 7*s.
