Gather Intel in Nick Fury's Recon Initiatives

Summoners!

The Battlerealm is full of countless Allies and Enemies, and Nick Fury wants to know everything about all of them! Join him in a month long Event to gather Intel on the Champions of the Battlerealm!

Assist Nick Fury in gathering Intel, and trade that Intel for rewards such as Catalyst Fragments, Crystal Shards, and Hero Crystals! Assist him in all of his recon missions, and you’ll have enough Intel to trade for a 5-Star Awakening Gem Crystal!

Your Mission, if you choose to accept it…

Over the next 4 weeks, we will introduce 1 Quest per week with 5 different Difficulty Levels. Each of these Quests is only 2 paths, with a buffed up Boss at the end!

Easy right? Here’s where it gets interesting… Each of these Quests feature Champion Requirements, and each week your team will be limited to which Champions that you can bring in!

Champions will be limited based on their Universe Tags (which can be found on a Champion’s info page). This means each weekly Quest can only be completed with Champions of that Tag.

Week 1: Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy
Week 2: X-Men and X-Force
Week 3: Spider-verse Heroes, Sinister Six, and Symbiote
Week 4: Mercenaries and Robots

All Chapters will remain open until the end of the event, so you'll have time to 100% Explore the previous weeks Quest.

You'll need to complete harder difficulties to get more rewards, so make sure the Champions on your roster with those Tags are ready for a Challenge! We'll also be sending out another message each week outlining which Champions fall under said Tags.

For those of you that may need to expand your roster, special Crystals containing Champions that can enter these Quests will be available each week of the Event. Yes, that includes unreleased 2 Star Version of some of these Champions! This doesn’t include Champions who are not in the base pool, such as Deadpool, Goldpool, Havok, Ultron (Classic), Vision, or special rarity exclusives such as 4-Star Rhino or Cyclops, 5-Star Gamora or Thor.

If you’ve become Uncollected, a Grandmaster version of these Crystals will also be available. Make sure you check out the crystal descriptions to see exactly which Champions are included in these Crystals.

Knowledge is Power!

The task is great, but the rewards are greater! Use your Intel in the Store to purchase rewards to assist you in your own missions across The Contest!

You’ll find items such as Tier 5 Basic Catalyst Fragments, 5-Star and 6-Star Hero Crystal Shards, Awakening Gem Crystals, 4-Star Hero Crystals, and much more!

While Intel will mostly only be available in Nick Fury’s Recon Initiatives, there will also be a Special Calendar that will award you a small amount for logging in every day! But don’t miss a single day, because if you do, you’ll be reset to Day 1!

Each of these items have purchase limits. Some, you’ll be able to purchase up to 20 times, while others you’ll only be able to purchase once.

For those that want to chase the 5-Star Awakening Gem Crystal, you’ll need to complete every Difficulty of the event, and log in every day to claim your daily Intel from the Calendar! The Crystal costs 5000 Intel, and it’s only possible to get 5740 Intel from normal play.

Nick Fury's Recon Initiative begins March 6, 10:00 AM PST. With a new Chapter releasing each Wednesday after that. All Chapters will remain open until the end of the event on April 3, 10:00 AM PDT. So you'll have time to 100% Explore the previous weeks Quest.

It's because he is tagged as a villain. Almost every champ is either a #mercinary #hero or #villain (a few champs don't have any of these 3 tags). If they are tagged as one, they cannot be tagged with either of the other two.

I've completed Beginner through Heroic on Week 1-3. I completed Master for Week 1, but quickly realized I couldn't get through the other weeks. Curious who did you guys find most helpful for Week 2 and Week 3.

Week 2 my mvp’s were 4* domino if I could critical bleed, 4* iceman, 3* archangel, and 4* x23 for sentinel and cannon fodder (this was epic). Week 3 apparently Stark spidey is the best if you don’t get killed by block damage (I did), but I used Venom since the damage is good and he’s somewhat bulky in terms of block proficiency. Anyone can work though if you can play well

@Kabam Miike @Kabam Lyra I have spent 400 Intel on 4* AG.. Also m going for 5* AG so as per the post I should be getting around 5300 more Intel for exploring all difficulties and logging in everyday?? Just worried despite completing all the quests I might not make it to 5k

This is why I hate Kabam more than any other game company. I done every difficulty for the last 3 weeks, this week had 3 of my best Champions. They couldn't come up with an original idea, so they went with unblockable. With game lag it's almost impossible to intercept. So before everyone starts with the get good post, you cant get good enough to get past the lag. Unblockable if you get hit 1 time with a 4 star, you're done, even an L1 with a 5 star you're done.

I didn't think it was that bad. The paths are easy so you have your whole team to get him down. Pulled my 3rd Cosmic gem though. Anything but Cosmic or Tech would've been good.

I ended up using 2 single revives on Epic basically just because of my own mess ups. Other than 6* Yondu and 5* R2 Ultron, all my other champs were 4* R4 (Luke Cage, Gwenpool and Ultron). Thought it was going to be worse going in, but wasn't that bad.

Maybe I got lucky, but most the time, I got Fury to his L2, which is easy to evade.

I had issues with swipe back as well. It seems to be a recurring theme for me with fights that are heavily noded—either inputs don’t register or frames “skip.”

Most notably, with duped Luke Cage I would find evading Fury’s medium attack immediately after getting hit by a Sp1 failed. It reminds me of the bug where Mordo would get a free combo in on you after his Sp3, leaving zero chance to swipe back.

Games have bugs and sometimes games don’t work well on certain phones. Seems like it happens often to me for whatever reason.

What's garbage about it is that the only people I have seen so far that have "not had a problem with it" or have even completed the quest are those with gwenpool or Domino and only a couple Luke cage (the vast majority used Domino). It's garbage because of the double unlockable finale. Yet I forget that most people posting on here about how easy it is are people with some pretty stacked rosters. You have to have the right champs or you're screwed and that's what's garbage about it.
