P.S. Those same people who on one hand say 4*s are dead but are now losing thier mind over not having one to immediately rank up. Well played Kabam.

Most people said the rewards were garbage anyway. There is literally nothing that someone won’t complain about.
It’s one event. Some objectives will be harder than others for some, but c’mon we’re talking about maybe a crystal or two with some 4* shards that some will miss out on.
I’m certainly not going to sell champs and open crystals to try and pull them again just to open another crystal that may give me some gold.
I’ll have fun playing some Avengers and popping a few crystals hoping for rare items, but I’m not gonna get all worked up cause my Gulk and Scarlet Witch are already ranked up.
I’m very selective with my rank ups generally, so I happen to have a few laying around.
The main issue for me is that particular aspects of the event look so obviously wrong that it’s difficult to imagine how they ever came to be part of the finished product.
First, and most glaringly, the impossibility of hitting some of the milestones because they’ve already been done ad infinitum, and years ago by veteran players. Why that wouldn’t have jumped out to anyone on the game team is baffling—regular, loyal players would red flag that as a potential issue in a matter of seconds.
Second, the requirement that milestones be claimed first before any progress can be made on subsequent milestones. This is literally a step back—event milestones aggregate and even move to stash and have done so for a while. That’s a smooth and intuitive process. Having to back out of an activity and claim a prize before resuming that activity feels like the equivalent of dial-up.
Third, more pop-ups. Just...mystifying and disconnected.

And you apparently don’t understand the point that all rewards are not going to be accessible to all players at all times. On a monthly basis many more players are unable to access vastly more valuable rewards than the crystal these complaints are centered around. It’s petty in comparison; it’s like the 1% demanding more than they already have because they already have more than others.
Rewards are given out for completing tasks, it’s ridiculous to give out those rewards to players who have completed those tasks prior to the new event. Beyond that it simply isn’t worth the man hours to accomplish the task of figuring out who “deserves” a crystal.
It’s a crystal with a low chance at giving you a small portion of something valuable and a near impossible chance of something very valuble. It’s also one crystal of the many that will be available to you over the course of the entire event.
Yes selling and reranking is an option if you value that crystal so highly. An option, something you can choose to do or not. If the .1% is worth it to you.
Unless the intent is to increase revenue, it does absolutely nothing to benefit players to have it set up the way it is.
And if someone didn't come to the forums they would have no idea about claiming before progressing... which is like the vast vast majority of the player base.
Just more bad ideas and poor implementation after a string of bad ideas and poor implementations over the last... gosh. Forever it seems.
