So #New Avenger champs don't count as Avengers for rank up?

First I didn't get the "take a 3* Avenger to rank 3" objective because I didn't know you couldn't claim more than one objective of a type at one time and took a 3* BPCW from rank 1 straight to rank 3. Now I just took a 3* Jane Foster Thor to rank 3 but still didn't get the objective presumably because she is a #New Avenger and not a #Avenger? Whomever designed this thing should be fired. So poorly created.

    It's the same as for the "Avenger Use" Alliance quest
    You don't get points for New Avenger :)

    Guess I never noticed that. I just use 6* CAIW for that event to get points faster. Thanks.

    "new avengers" are not actually avengers.. It is not like stark spidy joins the teams and just gets the tag rookie "new" avengers. The new avengers were a spintered group of ex avengers who forsake the primary group in order to not sign the accords. You can think Capt America's group after CA civil war. They were not actually avengers at that time.
