I originally decided to get him to rank 3 when I was low on good defenders for alliance war, and ghost rider could help me with killing the collector with the trinity so maybe it would be good to rank up ghost rider instead.

If you have ghost, hood. If you have blade, ghost rider

People undervalue Hood. Great champ, especially duped. Ghost Rider is great unduped.

If you like to use Ghost and/or Wasp, then choose Hood (great synergies). If you run Blade, then choose GR.

Also, hood's stagger does not count as a debuff. So on debuff immune champs you can still prevent them from activating buffs.
