Compared to olden times? yes, then again that's an asinine comparison, but monthly event quest rewards have not been updated in a long time (of course, I'M SURE the usual suspects are fine with that). So basically it's easier to obtain 5 and 6* for loads of $.I bet that path that requires 4 6* will have a bunch of enemies and nodes that require a ton of utility, since 6* rosters are not that deep, it will be a thorny and bloody path. These truths are facts, saying free to play or low spending players who have bad luck with RNG 6* pulls will struggle with Act 6.2's 5* restriction gates is an opinion.

The only way 5s and 6s have been more accessible since act 6 came out is by way of whaleing out on cavalier crystals. Thats a cash grab if I've ever seen one.
It's really not about making it last longer, although it may take some longer to get there. It's a progress gate. The point is to make it accesible to people who have reached a certain level of progress. For some, they've reached it. For others, they'll have to work towards it.
