How did y'all beat Epic Difficulty Thing in the Save the Battlerealm Quest?

What Champion did you use to beat Thing in the Last Stand: Save The Battlerealm Quest on Epic Difficulty? These combinations of Nodes on him are getting Really Annoying...

I have posted a video I just took of a run through Epic with unawakened 5* OG Cap at 1/25. You’ll see I mess up against Thing because I tried to do something silly. But this fight is still manageable.

Jealous as hell of those Load times... Mine always take around a minute if I've been on the game more than 30 minutes without a reset...

iPhone makes this game run pretty smooth I suppose. Although I’ve been getting quite a load of lag this month. Cap may not be ideally suited for Thing, but he can do it. I just refused to rank up any of these **** champs for subpar rewards and Cap’s stone helps him get through most of the quest unscathed.

The animations lag my game sometimes, so occasionally I click dash back but my champion just sits there...

Fair enough, I can relate. My last device was much worse than my current. Still have lag with this one but not as bad.

My current Tablet is apparently counted as a "Higher Tier Device" so I have extra Animation Effects on guys like Ghost rider, Dormammu, Killmonger, and right now Modok. But those extra effects Lag the game sometimes a little in Modok's Heavy's case, and sometimes a lot in the case of Killmonger's Reverberation Effects on his armor. I just wish there was an option to turn them on and off instead of Kabam deciding which Device "tier" gets what.

Finally beat him... Wasted 300 Units but that's all the LS:STB Quest 100% completed on all difficulties... I really hope they learn from this and never do another Quest like this again.

Oh thank God I thought the T4 Catalyst I was going to get for all that was another Tech, it was Cosmic which I definitely have more of a use for than a 7th T4 Tech...

Phew... Lags and such surely make this a lot harder.

I didn't try out black widow or hulk yet, but I took down every path on epic with an r2 5* og cap. You need to be careful and patient in basically every fight.
Void was a bit harder than thing imo, since you have to play even more carefully, but 2 or 3 bleed stacks can easily be healed through by some parries. Seriously, caps regen mechanic is bonkers.

Thing is way easier if you're already a little comfortable with fighting him normally. But if you're patient enough you can just build up power stings and let him kill himself.
It actually fits quite well, since you're already busy watching his rock stacks and bait specials according to that. Throw in the powersting build up and it's comparably easy.

I used Black Widow on the Void fight, made it a lot easier

My main got 1,000 5* shards which gave me.... wait for it..... 5* Cyclops Blue. So.....
