spider verse crystals not giving credit

i just opened a spider verse crystal and pulled what would have been my 2nd 3 star today. i got excited cause thats shield markers, but it didn't register for some reason still says one of two

wait a minute.. your telling me king pin doesnt count in a spider verse event...i did get kingpin but now I'm just curious how kabam screwed that up.

Sure, he's connected to spider-man, but is he part of the Sinister Six? No. So sadly, he doesn't count. Really annoying, but that's how it is sometimes.

Why is Iron Patriot one of the Sinister Six? I know he is Norman Osbourne but he was the head of Hammer and Lead the Dark Avengers as Iron Patriot. Furthermore why is Mysterio not included as a Sinister Six? They put the new Spidey in the Hero section.
