Rocket is underrated

RR is actually quite a good champion, I got him recently and his sp1 provides extra crit damage and his sp2 and sp3 hit so hard and also provide lots of bleed, not to mention rocket has one of the highest attacks stats in the game. His scanning ability which provides stacks of armor up or physical resistance also helps to make up for some lacking health

    Well when I asked if he was good on global after pulling him I got rained on with people saying he's quite useless and down there with falcon and colossus, plus youtubers like seatin put him in a lower tier than he deserves, so I got the impression that he was frowned upon

    Hes **** now.

    Pre 12.0 he could get guaranteed 100% crit rate with a high enough combo.

    His sp2 can hit hard, for 2017.. too many new champs just outclass him in every way. His dash back modes need some work maybe to make him viable.

    What they said, don't trust global. If your global has some of the same players as mine, then it isn't the most reliable source of information. I agree, I find rocket to hit hard, but be really squishy. I enjoy using him when I do.

    SP2 and SP3 does major damage and he hits harder than a few champs

    He is a hard hitting champ and can do good damage.

    The problem is he is out damaged by a lot of champs these days. Also he has such a low health pool he can’t hold up in endgame content just from chip damage through blocks. The last thing that drags him down is he has no extra utility to balance him out. He can hit hard and that is it for the most part.

    I loved RR when I had him as a 4* early on in the game. These days he just gets outshined because there are champs that can out damage him with more utility and higher health pools. Still can be useful and fun to play. I bring my 6* into questing for fun all the time.

    Yep no one underrates him,if i remember he was highly sort after champ back in '16, like hawkeye ,he didnt age well for current content,if he had slight new upgraded ability where he autoblocks with perfect block (consuming armour ups he can get automaticaly) or has guranteed sp2 unbockable (consuming physical resistance) or may b like even resistance to mind control , he might work for defence n offense for some , one mistake n ur dead!

    I agree. Rocket is a Glass Cannon, but if you move with him right, he can do some good Damage.
    As for others, if I relied on what other people alone think, I would probably have 3/4 less knowledge on Champs. I mean, it's definitely helpful to stay open-minded to what others are saying, but there's no substitute for spending time using Champs and getting to know their uses ourselves.

    Like others have said, he hasn't aged well. He's a glass cannon that doesn't hit very hard in comparison to the more modern champs that also have utility. I think with a little tweaking he could be really useful again. Not saying he's a bad champ and still hits okay but he's just outshined now. If all you're designed to be is a heavy hitter he should hit harder.

    As much as I would like to play rocket, I see no reason to rank him over pretty much any other champion when it comes to "to rank or not to rank" question

    He was on my first ever War team. I've always like rocket. He is still a solid champ but there is nothing he does that others don't do better.
