YouTubers help “constructively”

Do you think the main youtubers offer help/ make videos in our best interest or simply look out for #1??

Those who sought to make a job of it most certainly are in it for the money/#1. Others found it to be their calling and are not necessarily playing the same angle. ;)

Yeah you don’t agree with someone's opinion, welcome to society.

Unless it is crystal opening, I think generally it is helpful to me. Better still, if the videos have printed words describing the actions, key messages.

I like two things about Youtubers and other MCOC Content Creators (which differs from those in the MCOC Content Creator Program btw).
    1. There are times when it's nice to hear what they think on certain topics, whether it be how to beat content/play a certain champ, what they think of the new things that have happened, or whatever. It's really nice to hear other peoples' opinions on things most of the time.
    2. It's nice seeing how wide a variety of people play this game.

So yeah I think, at the least, youtubers and content creators STRIVE to be constructive. Whether their advice is helpful to each and every person is another thing altogether.

Regardless of motive, mcoc YT content is a tool that's available for you to use. It either gives you a look at a champion in use that you don't have but may want or can give you an insight into a different approach to content you're struggling with. I don't really care about why it's put out there additional information is always a good thing

    Helpful.
I watch gameplay vids when I land new champs and it helps doing new quests (Variant, Act 5/6 and monthly) to see more about the paths and what champs worked well beforehand. I like when they grade the offers and watch the news about changes or updates. Saves me a ton of time and units plus I’m more informed.

Clearly you don’t like that particular YouTuber, not sure why and why you would make a personal attack on them and single them out especially on the forum where that’s against TOS. Shame on you!
It’s fine to have an opinion, it’s doesn’t make it correct or even remotely relevant.
I myself make the final decision and I am always open to hearing what valid information is out there.
    Valid information. Lol.

Watch what ya want man but that's funny.

    Nope not one bit

Watching youtubers is like buying a strategy guide when you buy a new game. Why play the game if you going to follow a book.

80% of the times the youtubers are wrong.

I think most youtubers want to make money but they do it by serving our best interests. I just don't like the f2p youtubers that give the false illusion that you can play on the highest levels without spending. if you have a job you have to go to it is damn near impossible to play on a top 20 alliance level without spending.

Strong disagree. Idk what channels you watch.
Seatin, RichtheMan, Dorklessons are all spot on.
Lagacy, iLacSkills and ProffHoff have their value as well.
A lot of others are spot on, I’ll check out mcoc vids that pop up on my feed that seem interesting or fruitful to me.

What’s the point of this post? It flat out seems ignorant

No idea. Either you have watched a vid and it helped or it didn’t. Not sure why we need a thread about YouTube tutorials and if they are helpful

Look at his post history and you’ll find your answer. Too lazy? He had an issues with someone’s opinion on the sigil but that thread was shut down and he needed a way to indirectly flame someone.

Of course they offer to help.

No one would watch the vids if anyone would feel they are being helped.

Seatin does video after video with champs he wouldn’t really use, just to showcase their in game abilities and performance against high level oppornents.

Obviously he is looking out for himself as it’s his job, but he is clearly making his audience Happy meaning we still watch.

I think it really depends on the YouTuber. We all have our favorites. Generally, they all have helpful content. Some have their own agenda, which is easy to detach from and see if you take a step back. As with anything, it's good to take everything with a grain of salt. One person's views are not absolute. It's useful to look at many sources, rather than one fanatically. I think misinformation lives in blind faith when it comes to self-serving motives.

If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all.
