Pathetic excuse. MFF literally gives everything for free, I can play for an hour there and have 10 six stars. Arena is part of this game, if you can't be bothered to do it then it's your fault that you have barely any gold.

But neither can you prove that the 80mil gold in entirety currently in your stash is a direct result from grind alone (ie arena).

Your pvp is about 232k. That’s about 73k arena win fights that you have made in over the course of the game. 375 BC for each series win x 73k wins = ~24M BC. (Ie arena crystals)

Now assuming that you’ve cashed out every drop of it equivalent to UC BC today (without giving some to alliance treasury) you’d have netted about 2400 UCBC crystals. Assuming that you’re so fortunate to nett 50k gold for every single BC crystals, your gold stash would have been about 120M over time

(Note: Again, I’m being extremely generous with my assumptions here, that each UCBC crystals yielded you with 50k gold and you don’t have to donate BC to alliance treasury for the past 5 years)

Now what about spending?
You have around 469 champs. Now let’s assume you’d use an average 150k gold (I’m being very very conservative here with averages) for every single champ you rank up, and that would have costed you about 74M gold

Alliance treasury donations, let’s assume 1M gold annually, and so that’s 5M over time

So net total equals 120M less 79M = 31M

I’m not considering auxiliary gold intake from quests, sell of extra ISOs, buying gold crystals, doing gold realms etc cos I’m very sure the sum of all of those I mentioned above will not yield 49M. If yes, there wouldn’t be multiple threads like this to begin with!

I sell a ton of ISOs I get from duping champs from arena and quests (have 3.2k of mixture ISOs in Stash currently). In fact, I was sitting at 79.5m 2 arenas ago, and have the amount you see in the screenshot midway through the previous arena. In the meantime I maxed out a 3* and R3ed a 5* due to level up and currently have 80.44m.

Arena is not the only reason why gold isn't an issue for me. But it is the main reason because the by-product of arena is the much "what a waste of time" 4* shards that, when opened, gives 24x 5k ISOs that will either save you gold when you use them for rank ups, or give you more gold when you sell them. And yes, I never rank up using non-class ISOs.

Grind arena, problem solved. Stuff has to be earned, the only free stuff is in the calendar. There is no gold shortage and it’s readily available, you just have to work for it.

What I find is people think arena needs to be done in one sitting which tends to turn them off. Personally I do them when I'm walking to and fro places, watching television after my kids sleep, during smoke or toilet breaks, etc. Small bits do add up quite alot.

You have three arena days. The first three milestone is what net you the most gold.

I do like this

2* - build 10 streak till you reach the first three milestones for gold

3* - build 10 streak till you reach the first three milestones for gold

4* basic - build 10 streak till you reach the first three milestones for gold

4* featured - build 10 streak till you reach the first three milestones for gold

5* featured - kamikaze style unless you have enough of 5* champions to achieve infinite streak till you reach the first three milestones for gold.

Another tip when I achieve streak 10 I check for the alliance help request and help them before proceeding to another arena to achieve streak 10 and so on unless there’s no help request from others.

This method is suitable for everyone that is active to non active players. Non-active players will want to do this during the course of 3days arena time not requiring you to be in arena 24/7 but little by little will net you enough golds.

May also want to invest in gold increase mastery despite it not giving much but a few extra golds doesn’t hurt

I’ll never understand this entitled attitude of “I shouldn’t be held back just because I don’t want to put in money, time, or effort. I should have all the advantages those people do for doing and spending nothing”. Are you hearing yourself? Yeah if you don’t spend time or money because you have other things to attend to than you won’t and shouldn’t be a top tier account or player. It’s pretty simple. Your lack of spending and or laziness is what holds you back and I’m glad it does. You’re not being punished, others are being rewarded for their efforts that you’re not making. I may be wrong but the ppl with tens of millions in gold are also ppl that have been playing for 3+ years. They dont have to worry about ranking up as many champs as newer players because most of their champs are already ranked up except for the 2 new ones each month. That alone allows them to save and stockpile gold compared to newer players with developing rosters.

That's not the case for me. I Rank everything. Still have lots to do. I just don't go for broke. I keep a minimum of 5 Mil. Rank a bit each week, replenish before I Rank again. People seem to be Ranking the most expensive Champs alone and wondering why they're running out of Gold. Also, if you're going 0 to R4 or R5 in one sitting, it'll take a lot of Gold. Ever since the announcement of 6*s, people have been focusing on 5*s only. Problem is, they're supposed to take more Gold.

I have been playing for 4 years and it has worsened over the years. AQ map6 does not give arena chips anymore, ranking up 5* to rank 4 or 5 is about 1M gold per rank, and arena crystals barely more than the minimum 2.4k per crystal.

Those who show millions of gold probably don’t up their champs, show us a pic of your roster next to your treasury screens... lol just teasing.

But seriously, I recently became lucky and drew a few 5* god tiers and can barely up one of them although I am grinding arenas, exploring all event quests from beginner to epic and have completed most story except for act 6.2. where I am at 50%... so please stop telling us to go grind. The game has evolved, we can now rank up 5* to rank 5, have all the items but gold is still earned like 2 years ago when there were no alpha 2 catalysts around yet.

One suggestion, why not make arena fights free ? Spending gold to earn gold is kinda useless... It’s like paying to go to work.
