It's a partnership, really. There are certain things that they must do, and Marvel is involved in the process. However, they also have a say, and have freedom with it. They've worked with them for almost 5 years now, and I think it's more like long-term relationship status at this point. Lol. They draw on many sources. Comics, Films, others. Ultimately, the final say lies between them and Marvel.

Personally I appreciate when they highlight an unknown more, for example. We know the Main Characters. As someone not versed in Comics, making an odd ball strong motivates me to learn about them and look it up.

If you mean the costume only then you should be clearer in your statements, but I cannot know what you mean by that statement. The artwork is a small part of the character design.

You seem to be misrepresenting what I’m sayin. It is not apart of the MCU, nor the comic universe(s), the chapters in this game draw inspiration from the, but in the marvel multiverses it has its own universe, even its own earth designation . What happens in the mcu or the comics does not happen here except in limited case by case fashion, therefore claiming such and such hero should be like the comics or the movies is folly. The mods have explained this time and again.

and for response to original post, yes i agree on buffing/reworking or just slightly giving updated mechanisms on old champs (like pre fight on SL,on LOki too but curse on opponent and reverse curse on loki that grants him few buffs for slightly longer duration then 7 seconds and many others like DD ,electra, og spidy,miles,jane foster and so on) but for newer champs kabam has been releasing too OP champs lately and only a few blunders (unfortunately in mystic class) but i wish if they would slightly nerf champs like domino ,corvus(reducing crit damage he gets from missions) cull (armour breaks) ,namor(stacking fury) ,ghost (crit damage & hood synergy)and get them back to a normal but powerful level and be in line with what a standard powerful champs would be, cause now the glass ceiling on content they have been releasing is reached,!!! when most popular youtuber doesnt wanna do some piece of content live stream ,it really tell how bad of a content that is!! (i am talking about 6.2) difficulty, gates ,requirements are getting crazier by the day and i just wish kabam pull a little back and be gentle with the content difficulty they release and may b release champs interesting but not Op, and make older champs just as good to play (like she hulk but she needs a cap on her furys like may b 10-20 not sure)

It is not apart of the MCU, nor the comic universe(s), the chapters in this game draw inspiration from the, but in the marvel multiverses it has its own universe, even its own earth designation . What happens in the mcu or the comics does not happen here except in limited case by case fashion, therefore claiming such and such hero should be like the comics or the movies is folly. The mods have explained this time and again.

No I am not misrepresenting anything you are doing a fine job w/o anyone's help...TheTalents comments I was referencing related to the original Avenger lineup that was introduced in "MCOC" & how they are basically no longer A-list champions in "MCOC''...although when MCOC was introduced they were the champions that everyone desired to obtain...however as the game has evolved Kabam has not currently upgraded these champions which may be understandable because as they have shown by their actions they are more interested in creating new champions than constantly buffing old champions to stay current w/ the present meta of the game...so your comments again seem to be derived from an alternate universe.
