That was the original plan but they decided it will work better if they do it after the 10* champs. It makes much more sense that way.

Has there ever been any comment about bases by the mods or do they just ignore all questions related to it?

i have personally never seen them respond to anything regarding bases, long time lurker, only recently a poster.

its the biggest mystery in the mccoc universe in my opinion

Forged to Fight is not the same game. We are still looking at and planning out bases, but it is something that has been pushed back (obviously). They're still planned, but will take some time before they're here.
