Only go for Omega when you have plenty of sig stones

Sparky doesn't really needs to be awakened.
He's great unduped too

Omega has crazy damage & also he steals life
He too good with suicide

So if I had 50 sig stones for omega red is that a good start? Will his awakened ability be effective?

With high sig

Sometimes sparkys sig ability can be annoying (evade below 50% health) so I definitely wouldn't go for him. Omega Red 110%

If I didn’t want to put the units into suicide masteries, do you think omega red is still worth the awakening gem over sparky? Thank you so much for the insight everyone!
