Power gain difference between 6* r2 and 5* r5

When attacking the enemy, a 6* r2 champ seems to gain half a bar less power than a 5* r5 champ for the exact same fight. Is this intentional? It seems like a 6* r2 should be preferable to use over the 5* r5, but at least as a war attacker this isn’t the case, and the 5* is preferable.

    To add a little more context to the half a bar of power, this is over 3 parries and 25 hits. I’ve tested with with a 6* r2 Corvus and a 5* r5 Corvus against winter soldier, and have videos if needed.
