Kabam releases Champ with stated abilities in-game and spotlight
Champ does not perform as abilities are stated
People make bug reports
"We are looking into it"
5+ months pass
The description is wrong and he was never "intended" to be this "powerful"
Symbiote Supreme isn't even a champ that can be used EVERYWHERE. He inlt really shines against buff heavy champions like an AW Boss like Champion/Medusa. I have him as a R5 4* unawakened and I barely touch unless I want to make a dent on a buff heavy boss in AW
Joking aside, what makes us trolls for pointing out that it’s not a nerf?
Also please don't feed the Skrulls!!!
I am saying the EXACT opposite. I have gone on record in previous posts saying to wait 8* months the for Null’s to be clarified is absolutely an abomination. They should have gotten this addressed within DAYS if not hours of someone asking a simple question, that has been asked many times since it was first asked. I saying for them t take this long to give us clarification is bad and unbecoming of them. I’m not giving them praise for taking so long, I am giving them a modicum of respect because at the very least it’s finally being addressed.
Again I hate how long it took, I hate how it took some drastic measures to finally get it talked about at a level where something can be done.
The fact they said “giving different issues” leads me to believe 50% was NOT the original intention. But it also leads me to believe that it was originally a wording issue and someone dropped the ball......HARD.
It’s entirely possible the people who originally created SS and his abilities is no longer with the company so they couldn’t ask the know all. It’s entirely possible that if that person is no longer with the company, they had to review things. This is why TO or BY is paramount here.
The fact of the matter is something is changing, but he is still going to work the exact same as he has. And the biggest issue is the length of time this took, and the repercussions that happened.
But I ask again, was 100% on Null’s the ONLY reason people awakened/ranked/dumped resource into him? I am 99.9999% sure it was other things that made him wanted and chased after.
No one lied. The Description was wrong. After they considered increasing it to match it, they thought it would be too strong. That's it.
That's gross and it's gross that you would defend it as such.
In the spirit of not naming names but read on if you like. And mind you, I’m not taking this out of context. It was in the Oct 2018 SS’ spotlight conversation.
I am not necessarily too fussed about the ‘text change’, but to go about stating that the champ was vetted, it will work as intended (then) and yet, 12 months after his release, the supposedly ‘fix’ was to fix an unintended intent?
I’m not impressed at all
Seriously dude, stop what you're doing. At this point either you're on the payroll or you're the single most disingenuous dude on these forums.
If I could repost what I said in one of my comments that was deleted I would, and you would see I stand wit you guys on how poorly this was handled. But I wont, because I don't want another warning. I publicly chastised them for taking this long to come back with such a simple solution. But nothing I say will mean anything because you think I am a Kabam fangirl shill.
Should they be accountable? Yes. They responded. They didn't hide it or avoid taking responsibility. Could they have better measures? That's always an ongoing process for anything, really. When you have as many moving parts as this game, you're going to have issues come up. It's not going to be perfect. Ideally, you will have less issues in the same places as time goes on. Considering there have only been a handful of Champs that were described inaccurately, that's not bad.
