**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Human torch Nova Flame

They should count as incinerates for all his abilities, but on pleasure to burn path aq map 7 they don't. Opponent still takes reduced damage. Is this something you'll be looking into with the rework?

It only counts for his abilities. You need incinerate debuffs and passive incinerates on that node, and Nova Flames aren't even incinerate effects. So it won't work

they are not incinerate debuffs (they are counted as debuffs ONLY for HIS abilities, not for the node), and Nova Flames Passives are not Incinerates Passives... Maybe that's the problem, and if it is, it doesn't make much sense ...

Pleasure to burn is not a human torch ability.

Even if the description makes sense and according to it that fight went as intended, i still think nova flames should count as incinerates on that particular node, cause they are incinerates at a higher level, aren't they? They burn stuff.. They burn ice, for heaven's sake.. Maybe a change in the node's description and mechanic would solve this?

Not a big issue, just don't activate the pre-fight ability some would say, but cap marvel is the worst fight on that lane, she's constantly in binary, would help a lot to finish the fight quicker..

They are not incinerate at all. They only *count* as incinerates with regards to human torches abilities that use incinerates.

It is intended for it to be passive energy damage, and not a incinerate effect. Changing it would be a buff in some scenarios and a nerf in other's. For example, he wouldn't work against mephisto, void, havoc, etc
  • Hey there, as others have mentioned, Nove Flames themselves are not Incinerates, and only count as Incinerates for the Human Torches abilities. Since the Pleasure to Burn node is not one of Human Torch's abilities, the Nova Flames wouldn't count as Incinerates for that.
