Dashing forward after knocking down

With certain champs like OR I was always able to dash forward and attack while the champion is recovering from getting knocked down but ever since new update the left to right swipe action is not registered at all. It's like the game is refusing to take inputs when the defender is recovering. Does anyone else feel similar? Looking for inputs from other players.

    I had same thing happen to me just a while ago against green goblin boss in epic time after time quest. I was playing killmonger.
