Anyways, kabam may have used the term "dimensional being" a bit loosely in the bio. Now we are in the situation where if kabam caves in and gives him the dimensional being tag, it goes against their intended design and lets everyone use blade to beat uncollected aarkus much easier which is not what they intended. On the other hand if they cave in and change bio to "alien from smokeworld" or whatever else, people will complain that kabam are being lazy and just changing the bio to suit their needs. Truly, there is nothing kabam can do that will make the community happy whilst fulfilling their indended purpose for this event quest.

tl;dr, people are reading into the bio a little too much, just accept the tags given lol.

I'm not denying that they are't contradicting themselves. They are, by using a less than ideal choice of words to describe aarkus's origin. Kabam could have avoided this problem by simply not describing aarkus as a dimensional being to avoid confusion.

Yeah, I don't think contradicting themselves and creating a game are mutually exclusive options. This is kind of a universal rule in fiction. You can make the world whatever you want it to be, but once you have, it needs to be internally consistent. Blade's danger sense doesn't have to apply to dimensional beings, but once it does, you can't make a dimensional being and have it not apply with no justification. As @Demonzfyre suggested you could make him an alien from another dimension but not a dimensional being per se. But that's not what they've done.

Kabam tags Aarkus clearly as a DB in his bios, not even limiting the explanation to him being from another dimension but going as far as saying he is a dimensional being and then not giving him the tag??? What in the world are those guys over at kabam office high on??? Update his bios or add the fricking tag, this is just stupid....

If they say he is dimensional, and don't give him the hashtag which merely identifies dimensional beings as such, it's a mistake, not balance. @GroundedWisdom how are we supposed to read his bio which says he is a dimensional being, other than by concluding that he is a dimensional being? How does this not interact with Blade's ability which merely states that he reacts to dimensional beings? I suspect there may be a better answer than @Kabam Miike gave and they need to change his bio or add the hashtag, but as it stands it's an error. If you can explain it other than by using generic terms which don't actually mean anything in this context like "ballance" I'm all ears. You can't though, because it doesn't make any sense.

That's not jargon. They decide what Tags they receive. Now, it could be that they didn't add it and made a mistake. Anything is possible. However, since a Mod already pointed out that he's not meant to have it, then the reality is they didn't give it to him. That's about it. Not every piece of information in the Bio goes into the Tags.

That's true. Not every piece of information in the bio is a category in this game. "Dimensional beings" are a category in this game, however. If he isn't meant to have the tag, than the bio is incorrect. I don't care where the error is, so long as it gets corrected. Pretending that there isn't one isn't helping.

Yes. It does. The hashtags are categories, and they told us that this champ is in this particular game category. The game is different than the Marvel Universe. They don't have to describe his "back story" using actual game categories if they don't meant him to fit the category.
