Scientific pondering

Very limited science resources, I am focusing currently on exploring 5.3 and maybe 5.4 to get resources for Cavalier (just completion 6.1 for now). Have not touched Variant or 6 yet. Idk anything about wasp so people who vote her explain if/why she is good and how and where to use her. Thanks

Slightly leaning towards Gulk because he is barely strong enough to handle various Dormammus that plague me, plus good for V2

But also CAIW can deal with a ton of stuff

Probably not Void because he does what he does at any level and has a good health pool.

Edit: here are my top 4* and non-science 5* just for an expanded frame of reference.

I would love to be talked out of it, but I would generally rather make my team balanced in terms of rank (like all r3 instead of r2 and r4, because r2 is NOT USABLE in 6.1 or V2, so I would rather NOT do Void because he already serves me well. Would love to hear words along with votes to convince me otherwise.

If void is already serving you well, and you need someone else for utility reasons, then don’t hesitate to rank up someone else. I would jut personally view Void as the best option of who you’ve shown for general use.

I have a 6* r1 unawakened void and he rocked through a lot of 5.3 and 5.4 exploration, an r4 high sig would be great

I've leaned towards CAIW because he's generally awesome, and you said yourself you'd prefer not Void

You're not in danger of resources expiring - why not at least wait and see if you get a 5* science awakening gem? If you could awaken Cap, then definitely him.

Over the years, I've learned having 1 "monster" you use to clear content is more helpful than a "balanced" team.

Balanced team only really helps with arena .. but you said you're looking to clear content ... turn void into a monster .. curb stomp the content ...

Alrighty guys, thanks for helping me sort through my thoughts. I’m gonna go for Void, and by the time I get the gem, I will probably have more T4cc for Cap (if it is Science). For the record, I wasn’t saying I don’t like playing as Void, I just felt like he was already good for his purposes (damage was not all to great for quests tho) so I wanted to rank someone else. Still going Void tho.

One last question. I checked and my Void is sig 144, and I have 28 sig levels to give to a science champ, so I’m thinking I should start saving for CAIW. Do y’all concur, or should I use them on Void for sig level 172?
